What does a healthy, vibrant sex life look like in your marriage?

You and your spouse probably both want to be fulfilled when it comes to your physical connection.  But for most couples, there are a whole variety of obstacles that chip away at their passion.

For blended family couples, the passion can sometimes wane rapidly when they run into unique obstacles.  From simple things like having the step-kids in the room just on the other side of the wall.  To deeper challenges like the influence of past relationships or hurts from previous sexual mistreatment.

The truth is that a "good" sex life will not hold your marriage together.  However, an unhealthy attitude, a lack of sex, or tension in a couple's sex life can create a burden on the overall relationship that is often difficult to navigate.

We've had significant struggles when it comes to our sex life.  Unrealistic expectations, negative triggers from the past, and differences in our attitudes have all created barriers for us over the past two decades.

As we've navigated the ups and downs, we've discovered meaningful and practical ways to connect both inside and outside the bedroom.  We've been able to experience healing and learned ways to honor each other when it comes to the passion in our marriage.

Over the next 3 episodes, we'll be vulnerably sharing some of our story and a few of the practical discoveries we've made along the way.  In this episode, we'll focus on the importance of sex in marriage and give you 2 things to focus on in order to create a healthy sex life.
